Come on, we all do it! We keep a few extra products in our purse for touch ups here & there! For me personally, I like to keep these products separate from what's in my makeup bag, because the products in my purse run a very high risk of getting lost!

There are a few key things that I look for in touch up products:

  • They must be relatively small or compact to fit into even my smallest handbag.

  • They must be able to stay sanitary.

  • They must be easy to use when on the go.

  • The must be relatively inexpensive in the (very likely) event that the will be lost.

  • They must where well over makeup & not get cakey!

Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets

These are such an OG purse staple. I think I have been carrying these around since middle school. Honestly, I think I keep one in my purse, car, and makeup stash at home! These are the number one thing for touch ups throughout the day. Before you ever touch up your makeup, be sure to blot your face with one of these (or a tissue) to avoid caking.

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

This may just be my favorite drugstore concealer. It is so lightweight-- almost like water! It is great for anytime, but really perfect for on the go touch ups. It wears amazing over makeup! Bonus: it has an applicator, so no need to bring a brush! Just dab on to your skin & blend in!

e.l.f. Retractable Brush

This little guy is completely necessary for the next few products. I love to keep one of these on hand just in case. I love that it's compact & comes with a lid so it stays clean!

Neutrogena Shine Control Powder

I came across this powder on an emergency touch up trip to CVS years ago. The kind of trip that's necessary when your friends are like, 'Meet us for Dinner in 30!" And you're an hour from home! It is so lightweight and truly absorbs oil when applied and helps to control it throughout the day. Total drugstore fave!

e.l.f. Blush & Bronzer Duo

This blush and bronzer duo is pure gold. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it! It is a total dupe for this high end fave but at literally pennies on the dollar! You may not think a blush and bronzer are necessary for touch ups, but they are actually the first two things to fade throughout the day. Plus, adding more color & contour to your face is a good way to transition your look from day to night!

Revlon Fantasy Brow

This hits all of the marks when it comes to on the go beauty! It is cheap, small, & multi-tasking! I love this little pencil & brow gel duo!

Travel Sized Mascara

One of my favorite tricks for compiling a good 'on the go kit' is samples! Honestly, how many mini mascaras does one need? I feel like I get one every time I take a trip to Sephora or Ulta! Save them for a totally free option or grab a mini at check out for around $10!

Tarte Pro To Go Eyeshadow Palette

I mean the name kind of says it all, right? This mini-eyeshadow palette is perfectly-purse-sized. While you probably won't need to be touching up your eyeshadow, it's great for transitioning from day to night & for those days when you're in a rush and have to do your makeup in traffic (not that I have ever done that or anything...) If you plan on adding shadows to your to-go kit, I highly recommend grabbing these travel brushes!

Tarte Lip Architect

This is a product that just launched from Tarte & I love the idea! While it's not the most budget friendly, it is double duty! So, in my opinion, this is totally worth it! A lip liner on one side, and a lipstick on the other!
